Elements in the Stars

For the atomic structure and radioactivity unit, our Pre-AP Chemistry class created an online data base that tracks the elements in the stars. This online data base can be used as a resource in order to identify solar bodies and allows us to make the connection between these solar bodies and chemistry. In order to identify an element or compound in within a solar body, we have to look at the wavelength and radioactivity emitted from the an element in the solar body. This data base allows us to discover some of the different elements found in some more common solar bodies in our solar system.
