4 ounces unsweetened chocolate
1 cup butter, softened1 1/2 cups sugar 2 tsp vanilla 4 eggs baked pie shell (9-inch) sweetened whipped cream In the top of a double boiler, melt chocolate over boiling water; allow to cool. In as bowl, cream butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. Add cooled melted chocolate and vanilla, beating well. Add eggs, one at a time, beating for 5 minutes after each addition. Pour into pie shell. Chill for at least 3 hours or until filling is firm. Garnish with whipped cream. |
